About The Artwork
This is an original linocut print by Australian artist Peta West, with every stage of the process created by hand. Beginning with detailed drawings, the design is transferred to linoleum sheets, carefully hand-carved, and then printed by the artist using artist-grade inks and speciality papers on a hand-operated printing press in her studio on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

The final print is a striking monochrome image of Australian flora and fauna, with selected areas in some works carefully hand-coloured using watercolour paint. Produced in highly collectable limited editions, each print reflects West’s meticulous craftsmanship and considered approach to contemporary printmaking.
